The Report on the results of the sociological study “Status of Gender  Policy Implementation in Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia and Lviv Regions”, within the project “Gender Equality and Inclusion in Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova and Armenia”, which is administered by KVINFO, the Danish Research Center for Gender and Equality, under financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

Gender policy is an important tool for building a fair and equal society in which every person has the opportunity to live up to his or her potential. The main goal of gender policy is to ensure equal rights and opportunities for women and men in all spheres of public life, such as politics, economics, education, etc. This involves elimination all forms of discrimination based on gender as well as creating the conditions to unlock the potential of every person.
